OSU's curriculum proposal software is called CIM (pronounced ‘Kim’), which stands for Curriculum Inventory Management.
Create new or edit existing courses; add comments to a course in the review process
Create new or edit existing programs (majors, certificates, options, and minors)
Make uncommon changes, such as submitting an Early Alert or Statement of Intent
Using CIM
Who can access CIM?
CIM access is restricted to OSU employees so you must be added to the CIM database in order to successfully log in using your ONID username and password. If you can't log in, send an email with your name, department, and position title to [email protected]. Please give us 24 hours to add you to the database.

The Curriculum Management site contains documentation about the steps in the proposal review process, the information needed for course and program proposals, and how to use CIM. Start by visiting the page about the type of proposal (courses, programs, or miscellaneous) you want to create or edit.
CPS Archive
The Curriculum Proposal System (CPS) archive contains program (major, minor, option, certificate) and course proposals submitted between 2001 and November 2019, with the exception of new program proposals submitted before 2010.
