Curriculum Management is committed to the integrity, quality and structure of Oregon State University's curricular programs, and provides information and guidance on all matters related to academic policies, procedures, programs and curricula.
Curriculum Proposals
Proposing a new course or program or revising an existing one is a process. We have the information you need to prepare your proposal and understand the review steps. Plus our Curriculum Coordinators can provide 1:1 guidance.

Review academic policies about courses and programs, ranging from advertising majors to syllabus components.

Access FAQs, instructions for running reports, and a calendar of upcoming course feedback periods.

Some majors lead to a license, certification, or endorsement required for employment.
Common Course Numbering is a process for aligning course information for the most transferred lower-division courses in Oregon. These courses are usually transferred between community colleges and public universities, but students also transfer between institutions for other reasons (for example, community college to community college, university to university). The intent of CCN is to streamline transfer by reducing excess credit accumulation by ensuring that course information is exactly the same at all Oregon public colleges and universities.
